A Blast From The Past │ Johnny Crawford

In this special edition of Angel Watchers I am featuring the multi-talented Johnny Crawford.  Most people don't remember that Johnny was one of Walt Disney's original Mouseketeers in 1955, but his greatest claim to fame was "The Rifleman" TV series where he starred as Mark McCain, the son of Lucas McCain, played by the late great Chuck Connors.  "The Rifleman" ran from 1958 to 1963.  You can watch two episodes of "The Rifleman" for FREE on Endyr's Movie Theater by clicking on this link: The Rifleman - TV Series   Johnny also had an outstanding career as a singer and recording artist.  He produced five Top 40 hits, including the single "Cindy's Birthday," which peaked at #8 on Billboard's Top 40 in 1962.  His other hits includes "Rumors" (#12, 1962), "Your Nose is Gonna Grow" (#14, 1962), and "Proud" (#29, 1963).  Johnny still performs on retrospective musical venues today.  In the triple-video-play below, the topmost video is a really cool photo-montage of Johnny.  By-the-way, that is Johnny singing "Treasure" on the soundtrack.  In the middle video Johnny sings a really plaintive and touching version of "Greensleeves", followed by the video on the bottom of  Johnny singing "Something Special".  Safe journeys to all the fans of Angel Watchers, wherever you may be.
