HIKI NŌ: The Nation's First Statewide Student News Network

Hawaii's only public television broadcaster (PBS Hawaii), partnered with more than 54 of Hawaii's public, private and charter high schools and middle schools, to create a statewide student news network, with all schools collaborating through equal access, regardless of geographic boundaries, or economic challenges.

HIKI NŌ, which is Hawaiian for  "can do", is an example of media and education working together for a better society.  Many leaders in education and business in Hawaii, and across the nation see a model like HIKI NŌ as an opportunity for students to develop the skills and competencies they'll need for the 21st century.
HIKI NŌ has a cool website that can be found at this link:  HIKI NŌ : PBS Hawaii

Please click on the video widget below to experience, and see Hawaii like you have never seen it before, and also to view a current episode of HIKI NŌ.  Hawaii is so beautiful and photogenic, that it is our hope here at Angel Watchers that some of you will visit our fair islands sometime in the near future.  Aloha Nui Loa.  Me Ke Aloha Pumehana.
